                                                  Nietzsche’s Truth

                                                Where is God now?
Here he is… He is hanging here on this gallows.
                                   Struggling between life and death
Blessed be the name of the eternal!
Why, why should I bless him?
Blessed be the name of the eternal!
He had created Auschwitz, Birkenau, Buna.
Blessed be the name of the eternal!
You have allowed to be tortured, butchered, gassed, burned
                                                 These men here.
What do they do? They pray to You!
Blessed be the name of the eternal!
                                                Where is God now?
Here he is… He is hanging here on this gallows.

Well here's a found poem that i had to do in english a while back. We're doing this unit on the Holocaust and genocide and all that jazz. I know there are grammatical errors but that is how i got the quotes. Quotes from the book Night by Elie Weisel. Please no religion opinions flying everywhere. Please.

And i swear to your god. If anyone uses this piece of crap for themselves, so help me...

Well, I can't help but put in my own religious opinion, but I'll try not to be a typical fundimental Christian and instead just say this: When will people realise that there is not God? When will people stop wasting their lives trying to follow these rules that perpetuate stigmas and prjudice, when they should be living this one beautiful life they ever get to it's fullest? How many lives have been utterly wasted by this illogical mythological and blatanly tyrannical form of belief system, and to an extent, form of control?

The only thing you can get out of life, ultimatley, is love. Be it unconditional, or friendly, or a passion or lust. Love is the strongest of emotions, and most people live their entire life ever feeling true love. When people realize that we are all made up of the same thing, energy, and in the smallest quintessential degree, we are one and the same, we will finally be at peace. We can then love each other rather than hate each other. We hate because we are ignorant or too closed minded to understand or accept different cultures and ideologies. Religion perpetuates the cultural plague on mankind, and without it, we could find tolerance and love between our differences, rather than hate and war.

Just look at the crusades, and the muslim bombers, and the witch burnings, and the hunt of the hethens, and the list goes on.

If there is an ultimate conciousness that imagined reality into existence, it wouldn't want us wasting our short speck in time as a living thing on such selfish supernatural thinking. It is in naturalistic explainations and the human ability at empathy and sympathy that we can learn to live in harmony, and further better the quality of life for every living person on the planet, and it could only get better and better from there.

Until that happens, however, we will continue to have an elitist, upper class who control everything and "enslave" the population through economic slavery and blind faith through a fear in hell or the afterlife.

We have more power as people than those in power want us to believe. Sadly, our world would be infinitely better without religion.

That's just my strong opinion though. Sorry for the rant.

You should be sorry. Because you didnt use that as your own post. Leave some brilliance for the rest of us.
